Medical Questions

         Is there a medical requirement for immigrating to Canada?

Ans:-     Yes. You and your dependents, whether accompanying you or not, must undergo and pass a medical examination. To pass the medical examination you or your dependents must not have a condition that is a danger to public health or safety or would cause excessive demand on health or social services in Canada.

         Must everyone in my family have a medical examination?

Ans:-     Yes. All of your dependents who are not already permanent residents or Canadian citizens, whether they will accompany you to Canada or not, must undergo a medical examination.

         Do I need to pass medical examinations?

Ans:-     Yes, you do. Each person who applies for Permanent Residence in 
Canada should undergo medical examinations as well as his/her 
dependants (accompanying or not).
                     
        
Is health care good in Canada?  

Ans:-     Excellent. Canada is reputed for the health care provide to residents. Health care is also publicly supported and available to all residents. However, you will be eligible only after a few (3) months of residing in Canada so you may want to make other arrangements for that time.
